Compatibility:
The two Service Packs 5 and 6 for SIMATIC S7-200 PC-Access V1.0 are compatible with all S7-200 CPUs (CPU 21x and CPU 22x).
Programs created with earlier MicroWIN versions can be opened and further processed without any restrictions.
Projects created with the new Service Packs can be neither opened nor processed with older versions.

The prerequisite for the installation of the SIMATIC S7-200 PC-Access V1.0 Service Packs is an installed earlier version of the software.
Installation Instructions for PC Access V1.0 SP5
- Download the file to your PC
- Unpack the archive and the required Service Pack.
- Now your directory will list the additional folder named S7-200_PCAccess_V10_SP5.exe. Start the update by executing this file.
- Follow the prompts that will come up during the installation to conclude the installation process.
- When the installation has been concluded successfully you will find S7-200 PC-Access SP5 in your start menu under the item Simatic
- After the installation please delete the temporary sub-directory with the installation files. This must be done manually..
Installation Instructions for PC Access V1.0 SP6
- Download the file to your PC
- Unpack the archive and the required Service Pack.
- Open the folder 1.0.6.25_Service_Pack/Disk1 and execute the file setup.exe.
- Follow the prompts that will come up during the installation to conclude the installation process
- When the installation has been concluded successfully you will find S7-200 PC-Access SP6 in your start menu under the item Simatic.
- After the installation please delete the temporary sub-directory with the installation files. This must be done manually.
